Accessibility statement · 9 September 2026

A website designed to welcome.

MIA is committed to making this website perceivable, operable, understandable and robust for the widest possible range of people.

01

Our target

The website is engineered toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA and the principles relevant to the European Accessibility Act. This statement describes a readiness direction; it is not a legal certification of conformity.

02

Measures in place

  • Semantic landmarks and a logical heading structure
  • Full keyboard access with highly visible focus indicators
  • Responsive reflow and readable type built with Inter Tight
  • Text alternatives for meaningful editorial photography
  • Reduced-motion support and no flashing or autoplaying content
  • Seven language options with right-to-left support for Arabic
  • No accessibility overlay or substitute widget
03

Known limitations

Some linked third-party pages, social platforms and external PDF documents are outside MIA’s control and may not meet the same standard. Event titles and source material can remain in their original language. A formal independent accessibility audit and structured assistive-technology testing are still required.

Feedback and assistance

If you encounter a barrier, tell us what page you were using, what you were trying to do and which browser or assistive technology you used. We will work to provide the information in an accessible format.
